Hello there! We're the Tompkins (Keith & Martie). For the past 8 years with the help of our fabulous volunteers we have turned our home located at 140 Brittany Lane in Guyton, Georgia into a walk through maze style Home and Yard Haunt.
People often ask us why we put so much time and money into something that only last one night? Our answer is simple: The fun and memories we provide visitors with will last much longer than just one night, and in 2008 we decided to ask folks to donate canned food items for families in need so all the hard work is well worth it. worth it.
Do you remember the houses you loved trick-or-treating at as a child? I'm sure you remember that house with the spooky decorations or the one where the parents always greeted you at the door wearing cool costumes. Our goal is to help create great memories like the ones we have to those who visit our home haunt on Halloween night.
Our walk through maze style haunt is designed to startle and scare our visitors but never terrify them. Black lights, strobe lights, flashing colored lights, fog machines, loud music and sound effects are all part of our Home Haunt so if any of these things cause you health or emotional problems we recommend that you not go through. Our volunteers will jump out at various places throughout the Haunt so if you have heart problems beware! Our front yard area outside the walk through the Haunt is decorated with younger visitors in mind featuring whimsical and humorous decorations. On Halloween night (while quantities last) candy will be given to trick-or-treaters of all ages whether they go through the haunt or not. We are open from 7 until 10pm on Halloween.
